Otumoetai Cadets will be looking for a good season when the cricket summer begins, with the services of Jono Boult secured for the captaincy role.

Jono nearly secured a contract with the Northern Knights this summer, but instead it will be his brother, Trent, that gets to wear the maroon.
Trent will be hoping to improve on his performances last year that saw him make it into the broader squad of the Black Caps while they were on tour in Australia.
Hopefully this year, he will be doing more than waiting on room service and providing batting practice for the starting 11.
