The glass-like water of Tauranga Harbour turned into a sea of whitewash with pink caps bobbing out of the water as hundreds of people competed in the Murray Dingle Memorial Bridge to Bridge.
The Tauranga Harbour Bridge to Bridge Swim is on Saturday 11th January 2014, in conjunction with the Murray Dingle Memorial Swim, set for tomorrow.

The race is a 1500m swim or 600m option.
Men, women and children challenged themselves to see who had what it took to come out on top as their family and friends watched from the sideline on The Strand.
It took about 20 minutes for competitors to go from the Sebel Trinity Hotel to the railway bridge by Harbourside Restaurant.
Last year Perry Farrell took out the 1500m, followed by Ben Campbell-McDonald from Wellington.
