SunLive Operatunity Competition

‘It's a Great Day for the Irish' will have audience members tapping their toes and clapping their hands at Tauranga's Holy Trinity Church on Friday May 7.

The concert, presented by Operatunity, features New Zealand's own furiously fast fiddler Marian Burns alongside singers Cameron Barclay, John Cameron, Susan Boland and pianist Alex Wiltshire.
Marian hopes audience members will dress up in green for the occasion and encourages people to sing along.
‘It's a great day for the Irish' showcases all-time favourites like ‘When Irish eyes are smiling', ‘Danny Boy', ‘Rose of Tralee', and ‘Galway Bay'.
The concerts start at 11am and the audience can interact with the artists by sharing lunch with them after the show.
Tickets cost $27 with lunch included, available online at www.operatunity.co.nz or by calling 0508 266 237. Discounts are available for groups, but seats fill up fast so bookings are essential.

To go in the draw to win one of two double passes to the concert, simply register on www.sunlive.co.nz then send us an email telling us the name of the fiddler performing with Operatunity. Send your answer, along with your name, contact address and phone number to [email protected] with the subject line 'SunLive Operatunity Competition”.

Entries must be received by May 5. Only people registered on SunLive are eligible to win.
