I really enjoyed trying the Prenzel's Lemon Zest limoncello liqueur and Southern Star Vodka, so was not surprised to hear they have both received gold status at the World Spirits Awards recently in Austria.

The Lemon Zest, with its intense taste and freshness, delicate tartness and lengthy finish is a real winner. The vodka has a lovely fresh style with a touch of citrus and mint. Prenzel take very hands-on approach to the processes involved in making these products. They source high quality ingredients and combined with knowledge learnt the hard way from years of distilling similar products, produce small runs of extremely good beverages with a kiwi take. The Lemon Zest is a new product having only been on the market for six months and is already one of the top sellers throughout New Zealand.
