SunLive Flaxworks Competition

Carol and Nev are on the great Kiwi road trip, taking the family campervan to their daughter's wedding. Only catch is, Carol died in 1984.
Flaxworks theatre company's latest production, Carol & Nev, is at 16th Avenue Theatre from April 20-24.

The play stars Alex Ellis and Phil Ormsby, who founded Flaxworks in 2005 while living in Tauranga. It is directed by Caitlin Dullard and written by Phil.
Set in a van, Phil says the show gives a unique perspective of recent New Zealand history.
'It's a tale about the damage time wreaks on youthful ideals and the difference between growing up and giving up.
'This show is about life. So many of us are concerned with ‘the business of life' we forget to live. This play is about remembering to enjoy it.”
Flaxworks' previous productions Murder by Chocolate and Biscuit & Coffee have been sell-out hits in Tauranga.
Tickets cost $20 for adults or $15 for students and seniors. Tickets are available from Baycourt Ticketdirect.
