Chris Powell, known as United Kingdom's Mr Blackpool, returns to Tauranga to tickle the ivories during a concert at Bethlehem College Performing Arts Centre on March 28.

Chris will play a Roland Atelier AT 800 electronic organ and the grand piano. Sixteen year olds Reuben Simpson and Aaron Falconer will also perform. Reuben will sing songs by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald and Aaron will play guitar and piano.
Chris is a former Baycourt resident organist who now tours the world. As an 18 year old he was one of the team of organists who played in the style of music made popular by Reginald Dixon at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, England.
The concert starts at 1.30pm. Tickets cost $25 for adults; $20 for TTOS members, Friends of Baycourt, seniors and groups of 10 or more; $10 children. One child gets in free with each paying adult. Tickets are available from Baycourt TicketDirect.
