Autism New Zealand's Bay of Plenty branch is hosting a fundraising advanced screening of the movie Adam on Thursday, November 12, at Rialto Cinemas Tauranga.
The movie tells the story of the romantic adventures of Adam, a Manhattan engineer who has Asperger's Syndrome.
Adam is credibly eccentric yet still accessible, so when the dreamy Beth moves into his building and his life, Adam – already at an emotional and professional crossroads – is forced to develop a whole new set of coping skills.
The fundraising evening starts with nibbles served from 6pm and the movie starts at 6.30pm.
Tickets cost $20 and are available from Autism New Zealand's Bay of Plenty branch, phone 07 571 0003 or email [email protected]
To go into the draw to win one of two tickets to the advanced screening, email [email protected] with the subject line 'SunLive Autism Fundraiser Competition”.
