What's on Today? Windsurfing

Pull a beanie on and head down to Fergusson Park today to check out the annual Elements Watersports Fun Slalom Windsurf event today.

Conditions are favourable for competitors to take to the Tauranga Harbour in what is expected to be fast-paced racing.


The event is in its third year and boasts an even mix of windsurfers from across the North Island.

Racing is scheduled from 12pm-3pm with competitors facing off in a simple slalom format of across the wind drag racing in a figure-eight course.

Along with racing, information and technique sessions will also be available for those keen on dipping their toes into the sport from 10.30am to 12pm.
