America's Cup: Racing postponed

It will be another race in the America's Cup battle - but it won't be today after racing was postponed due to wind.

Emirates Team New Zealand are on a match point in the 34th America's Cup leading with 8 race wins with Oracle on 2.

Oracle took out the first race of the day today with a strong 31 second win over Team NZ.

The start plan didn't come off for the first race, says Commodore Gary Smith.

'The plan didn't come off and Jimmy nailed them at the start, it's pretty hard to come from behind, but there has been some good sailing and I'm looking forward to another start.

'We've got a good team down here.”

Oracle led from the start in race 12 in Francisco Bay today.

Racing will now take place on Saturday, with the first race at 8.15am NZT.
