Going places no one else goes

Tauranga wireless broadband provider Enternet Online has gained 100 per cent customer satisfaction in the annual Consumer magazine national survey of ISPs.
'The first we knew of it, they rang us up and said they had some good news for us,” says EOL managing director Terry Coles.

Consumer Magazine called Terry because since the Internet Service Provider survey's inception in 2004, no company has ever got 100 per cent.
'What it does is open up a door that would never have been opened,” says Terry.
Out of town media have been visiting and Terry's expecting more enquiries as word spreads about what they do.
The business is expanding its wireless broadband coverage across the Bay of Plenty on a daily basis with repeaters now providing coverage into parts of the Eastern Bay of Plenty and Rotorua.
EOL gets many 'too hard” jobs that other ISPs don't touch, says Terry.
Much of EOL's business is horticulture based, coolstore monitoring, and frost monitoring, providing absolutely secure communications in a business where much of the communications are either cell-phone based or on dial up.
When the security of a couple of million dollars worth of crop is dependent on those links, you have got to have absolutely rock solid communications, says Terry.
EOL also provides wireless broadband for homes and Terry says many people have been buying properties in the Western Bay of Plenty expecting to be able to work either full time or part time from home.
'They are now making offers on a new house subject to broadband being available,” says Terry.
EOL was established in Tauranga in 1995 and provides a popular Mount Wavecam, which broadcasts free images of the Mount Main Beach and surf. The company also provides live web cameras showing Tauranga's harbour, the city's CBD, Bayfair Shopping Mall and Bay City Cinemas.
