Age 86. Peacefully passed away on Friday, 3rd October 2026, at Matua Village, Tauranga.

A much-loved sister, aunty and cherished friend, Mary will be deeply missed by her whānau and all who knew and loved her. She was a treasured aunty to her nieces and nephews and will be remembered for the love and memories she shared with them.

Dearly loved sister of Kuini, Airini, Frances, Pearl, Ivy, Royal, Te Moananui and Charlie.

A treasured friend of the Jehovah’s Witnesses brother and sisterhood, Mary was loved and cared for by her spiritual family. She cherished the friendships and fellowship she shared with her brothers and sisters and will be deeply missed by many.

As Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 reminds us: “For everything there is an appointed time… a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.”

A service celebrating Mary’s life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Waihi on Oct 10th.
