Born on the 30th of December 1930, Des passed away peacefully at Cedar Manor Care Home in Tauranga on Tuesday the 15th of September 2026; aged 95 years.  Much loved husband of the late Carley.   Loving dad of Steve and Stef, Darryl and Nadine, and Deyon and Chris (Rochester NY).  Cherished Poppa to Kassandra, Parker, Zachary, Lachlan, Olivia, Mackenzie, Ryan, Jasmine, Charlee, and Gabriel; and Great Poppa to Cooper, Hunter, Cole, Jaxon, Scarlett, Forrest, and Leon.  A service to celebrate Des’s life will be held at C3 City Church, 252 Otumoetai Road, Tauranga on Tuesday the 22nd of September at 3pm.   All communication to 07-578-3338
