On 13 September 2026, Barbara passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital aged 91 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Des Mathieson (dec’d) and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sheryl; Alan and Lesley; Graeme; and Ken (dec’d).
Loved nana of Alicia, Sam, Katrina, David, Rachel, Frances, Baylee, and Sean. Loved great nana of her 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Barbara, will be held at the Whangamata RSA, 324 Port Road Whangamata, on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 11:00am.
