On behalf of our whānau it is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved Mum, Nan, Sister, Aunty, Cousin, and Friend Kirstene (Kirsty) Teo Hutana.

Kirsty passed away at Tauranga Hospital, Saturday August 29 2026, surrounded in the warm embrace of her loving whānau.

Kirsty is dearly loved and will be missed eternally by her children Bayley, her husband Regan, Madyson, her partner Isaac, Kairi her granddaughter, all her whānau and her many friends.

Kirsty is currently lying in state at her home 72 Eversham Road, Mount Maunganui.
A service will be held for Kirsty at Hope Family Funerals, 2a Loop Road, Te Puna, at 2pm, Tuesday 01st September 2026. We will then convoy Kirsty to the Pyes Pa crematorium for a private cremation.
