Surrounded by her family, at the home she loved in Mount Maunganui, Val passed away peacefully on Thursday the 27th of August 2026; aged 88 years.

Deeply loved Wife of Rex for over 68 years.  Treasured Mum and Mother-in-law of Debbie and Peter, Mark and Penni, and Jason and Anastasiya.   Adored Nan of her 6 Grandchildren, and Grand-Nan of her 5 Great-Grandchildren.
