Hilary Wakerley went to be with her Lord and was reunited with her husband, Harry, on Thursday, 20 August 2026.

She will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses: Joanne and Phil, Grant and Lynette, Brett and Abby, and Todd and Nicola, along with her 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Hilary’s life will be held at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga on Wednesday, 26 August at 2:00 pm, with an afternoon tea to follow.
