Passed away peacefully at home with his wife Penny by his side on Saturday 15 August 2026, aged 73.

You might have known him instead as Arrow or Rexy. Or as a truck driver, a manager or consultant. Or maybe you knew him as a brother, godfather, uncle friend or neighbour. Jack, Abigail and Edie knew him as Poppa Rex. Penny-winkle knew him as a soulmate. And his girls – Kate Me Old Mate, Emmy My Little Matey, Mikayla Mouse-Mouse - knew him as Dad.

He left us too soon, but we know Mumsy, Poppo, Mark and Michael will be glad to have his company again.

It was his wish that there not be a formal service. Instead, you might like to climb a mountain, jump in the ocean or play some Pink Floyd with a little drappie.

We’ll end with he words of the great man himself – “Go dream big dreams about the little important things, and life will be good.” You little beauty!
