After a brave and steadfast battle, Sian Waerea with family by her side passed away peacefully on 29 July at the age of 44. In the comfort of her own home, she spent her final days alongside her two beautiful and strong children and Aunty Rae.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and respect to the numerous doctors, nurses, homecare and hospice staff who supported Sian in her difficult journey. Your gentle care and incredible effort will never be forgotten.

As per Sian's wishes a private cremation has already taken place.

If you wish to join us in a celebration of her inspiring life, a service will be held at the Papamoa Surf Club, 561 Papamoa Beach Road at 1pm on Wednesday 5th August.
