Emergency services are at a crash in Judea.

A police spokesperson said the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Waihi Rd and Otumoetai Rd was reported about 12.50pm.

Police at the scene said a car crashed into a fence before ending up against a transformer box.

The vehicle cannot be moved until Powerco has assessed the transformer and confirmed it was safe, police said.

The Waihi Rd entrance from the roundabout remained closed.

A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said two people were taken to Accident and Healthcare, both in minor conditions.
