It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful kuia, Maora Lorraine Reed.
Nan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love and aroha of her whānau. Beloved wife of the late Tori Reed. Cherished Mum to Kawe. Best Nan to Casey, Kale and Sarah-Jayne, Tori and Alisha, and Tia and Bailey. Much-loved NanNan to Payton, Spencer, Nixeyn, Madhisynn, Maika and Luka. Nan is deeply loved by her siblings and their extended whānau and a respected and treasured kaumātua throughout Tauranga Moana. Nan will arrive at Huria Marae on Thursday, 2 July at 1.00pm. Her nehu (funeral service) will be held at Huria Marae on Saturday, 4 July at 10.00am followed by the burial at Whakaeke Urupa (Carmichael Road, Bethlehem).
