It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Donn Maxwell Randell on 24th May 2026, at the age of 96. Devoted and cherished husband of the late Enid for 74 wonderful years. Loving father to David and Vicki, and to Anne, David’s wife. Proud grandfather to Matthew and Mercedes, Laura and Matt, and Nick. Delighted great-grandfather to Harrison and Miller.

Donn lived a long life on his own terms — tough, resilient, and fiercely his own man, with a generous heart that those closest to him knew well. He leaves behind a farm, a family, and a mark on the Te Puke district that will not fade easily.

A memorial service will be held alongside that of his beloved Enid, details to be advised.
