A Tauranga Lotto player is among 11 people across the country celebrating a solid windfall.
Each winner scored $21,197 in Lotto second division in Wednesday night’s live draw.
The winning Tauranga ticket was sold via MyLotto, meaning the local winner likely purchased their entry online.
Across the country, other winning tickets were sold in Auckland, Hamilton, Tīrau, Hawke’s Bay, Upper Hutt and Wellington.
The lucky numbers were 22, 16, 3, 4, 34 and 24. The Bonus Ball was 38 and the Powerball 10.
Players who bought tickets from any of the listed stores are being urged to check them as soon as possible, either in-store, online through MyLotto, or via the MyLotto App.
Meanwhile, Lotto NZ has ramped up excitement ahead of Mother’s Day, with its biggest-ever promotion now underway, a Lotto statement said.
The promotion includes an additional 100 prizes of $30,000.
Anyone who purchases a Triple Dip ticket between April 26 and 7.30pm on May 16 will automatically go into the draw for the extra prizes.
