On 20 February 2026, Vince passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital aged 95 years and 3 days.  

Treasured husband of Heather and dearly loved father and father-in-law of Cherie and Mark; Donna and Tony; Leticia and Glenn. Loved Opa of Caleb and Alyvia. 

A service to celebrate and remember Vince, will be held at 3:15pm on Friday 27 February 2026, at Katikati Fire Station, 15 Sheffield Street, Katikati.
