On Tuesday, 3 February 2026 Steve slipped away with 'his girls' by his side after a courageous battle. Best husband ever of Lou, amazing father to Lana and Shay, father-in-law and mate to Bryan and Dansam and beyond incredible Grandad to Kasey, Kahli, TJ, Tanner and Axel. A service for Steve will be held at Legacy Papamoa, 53 Te Okuroa Drive, on Monday 9th February at 11.00. Followed by refreshments at Club Mount, 45 Kawaka Street, Mount Maunganui to toast a whisky to a great man. A recording of Steves service will be available to anyone unable to attend.
