Serious injuries have been reported from a crash in Tauranga this morning.

Police were called to the crash, between a motorcycle and car, near the intersection of 11th Ave and Norris St at 7.50am.

“The motorcyclists looks to have received serious injuries.”

Hato Hone St John was notified of the crash at 7.48am, responding with two ambulances, one rapid response vehicle and one operations manager.

“One patient was assessed at the scene and taken to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition.”

There were no reports of the road being blocked.
