OBE, AFC, Air Commodore, RNZAF (Rtd). NZ4215186 and NZ Army 1/18/2834.  On 14 December 2025, aged 102 years. Only son of the late Stuart and Ethel Gunton, brother of the late Dorothy Angus. Treasured husband and best friend of the late Margaret for 59 years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Ian and Felicity, Christine, Susan and Clive, Linda and the late Murray. Loved and respected grandfather of Daniel, Tom, Sean, Stuart, Rebecca, Scott and Adam and great grandfather of Jacob, Eden, Leo and Lachlan.
