Passed peacefully at Radius Althorp, Tauranga on 11 December 2025, aged 99.

Devoted wife of the late Jim. Sister to Bill, Charlie, Doreen, Glenda, John, Joyce (all decd). Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Helen (decd) and Craig, Brent and Nicky; stepmother and step-mother-in-law of Ron and Kerry, Shirley and Pat. Cherished aunty and dearly loved and adored by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A wonderful friend to many. Devoted to her family and the service of others, Joan will be sadly missed.

In accordance with her wishes, a cremation has taken place and a private family remembrance will be held. Special thanks to the caring staff at Radius Althorp.
