Our beautiful Nana, RUTH RANGIORA CASSIDY, (nee Kingi) has made her journey home to be with her Lord on 18th October 2025 - reunited with her beloved husband John, her son Manu, and one precious mokopuna Elias who has gone before her.

A woman of faith, aroha and strength — her wairua will continue to shine through all who were lucky enough to know her.

She is the cherished sister of Bonnie (D), Ripeka (D), Mac (D), Charlotte (D), Trey (D) and Chowie. Loved and remembered by her children and their partners, Rayne & Deane, Verna, Nicola & Paul, Aroha, Moana, Haami & De'Arne.

Treasured Nana to 28 mokopuna, and 33 great grandchildren. Nana will lie in state at her home, 46 Douglas Street Whakatane, where whanau and friends can come along, korero, and share memories. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, at 10:30am on Tuesday 21st October 2025,

followed by her burial at the Urupa in Törere.

Nana, Rest peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord.
