Passed away peacefully on 12 September 2025 surrounded by the family he loved.
A dearly loved husband to Michelle and an adored father to Adele, Kate, Shaun and Luca. A true legend, a kind gentleman and a friend to many.
Simon will be so sadly missed. A service for Simon will be held at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes pa Road Tauranga on Friday 19 September 2025 at 10.30am followed by burial.

Our deepest condolences to Michelle, Adele, Kate, Shaun & Luca. We will miss Simon so much. What a wonderful neighbour he was. Kind, humble, caring, thoughtful, funny, and always looking out for our family. An amazing friend to have had for the past 5 years. He absolutely adored his family and was such a cool Dad & Husband to you all. He will never be forgotten. Lots of love from Steve, Lorna, Sean, Jake, Kaitlyn & Ellie x

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Simon had passed. We grew up together on neighbouring farms in Tuakau. Our fathers were best friends and our families were close. Our deepest condolences to Michelle, Adele, Kate, Shaun and Luca from the entire McGuire Family. Rest in peace Simon.
