On 29 August 2025, peacefully in Tauranga Hospital, in his 89th year.

Devoted husband of Avis, loved and respected dad of Rose and Garth, father-in-law of Dennis and Michelle, treasured grandad of Callum, Eleanor, and Hamish. Much loved brother of Cherie, and her family.

A service to celebrate Gordon’s life, will be held at the Te Puke Methodist Church, 2 Oroua St Te Puke, on Thursday 4 September at 11am, followed by private cremation.
