On 19 August 2025, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife Jill, aged 76 years. Beloved husband, much loved dad of Amy and Mike, Ben and Sarah, Mark and Kara. Special grandad of Sophie, Emma, Matthew, Olivia, James and Lucie. He will be loved and missed forever. Special thanks to the amazing staff of Ward 2, Tauranga Hospital for such tender care of John. We will celebrate John’s life with a Requiem Mass at St Thomas More Church, 17 Gloucester Road, Mt Maunganui, on Friday 22 August at 10:30am, followed by burial at Matamata Cemetery, 155 Peria Road, Matamata.
