1 February 1932 – 27 July 2025. Passed away, aged 93 years, peacefully at home on 27 July 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Evelyn for 69 wonderful years. Treasured father and father-in-law of Craig and Cindy, Suzanne and Peter, Mark and Rosemary, David and Julia, Paul and Paulette. Adored grandfather of Larissa, Sophie, James, Samuel, Daniel, Matthew, Kathryn, Henry, Isobel, Will, Ben, Edward and Charles. Proud great-grandfather of Thea, Oliver, Klaus, Archie, Grace, and Dexter. Charles will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and devotion to his family. His legacy lives on in the generations he inspired. Forever in our hearts. A service celebrating Charles’ life will be held at Legacy Papamoa, 53 Te Okuroa Drive, Papamoa on Thursday 31 July at 2pm.
