FOOTNER Pryme Rodney, 78, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at Tauranga Hospital, with his wife Halina by his side. He is survived by his children Jaime, Anthony, Jessica, and seven grandchildren.

Pryme started his career in the military before transitioning into the private sector. He retired as CEO of NZ Dairy Group and held important board roles during the creation of Fonterra. He loved wine and was proud to lead the successful purchase of Penfolds Winery by SA Brewing in 1990, one of his favourite career moments.

Most of all, Pryme was a loving family man. Following his wishes, a private farewell was held with close family, where the Last Post was played. The service took place on a calm and beautiful day.
