Emergency services are at the scene of a collision involving a truck and tree on SH33, Paengaroa.

A police spokesperson says the event occurred at around 2.30pm, and there are no reports of serious injuries.

"The tree has fallen onto the road and the northbound lane is blocked and the southbound passing lane is partially blocked.

"Motorists are advised to expect delays and avoid the area where possible."
