What’s On Today: Auction and AIMS

Auction to aid cancer victim

Head along to the Bureta Park Motor Inn this afternoon and help raise money for the cancer treatment for Tauranga 10-year-old Logan Alison.

Logan was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in early June and is currently undergoing intense chemotherapy in Starship Hospital.

A charity auction is on this afternoon to help raise money to support the 10-year-old and his family.

Up for auction will be signed sports gear, outdoor furniture, a foosball table, skydiving voucher and even a sacred jar of marmite.

The auction starts at 3pm at Bureta Park with the bar opening at 2pm for people wanting to inspect the items before they go to auction.
