The Incubator Creative Hub has launched three new exhibitions at what has become known as their ‘Friday Threesomes' when their programme renews every month across their three galleries.
"These exhibitions showcase hugely-talented artists across a variety of disciplines," says an Incubator spokesperson.
The three exhibitions launched simultaneously on September 16.
One gallery is showing the work of Didi Chapman who was born in the Czech Republic and recognised early on in her life that art was an important part of her identity. She was specifically attracted to drawing the natural environment using pencil and Indian ink and modelling small sculptures from clay as a child.
Didi's exhibition, titled '50 Shared of Didi' runs until November 5.
First-time exhibitors in the People's Gallery are senior students from Otumoetai College. Their show serves as the perfect vehicle to prepare and showcase work professionally to the public in a gallery setting and features an astonishing array of talent.
The Otumoetai College Art Exhibition runs until October 9, with the gallery open Monday to Sunday from 10am - 2pm.
Meanwhile, ‘Get Knotted - The Comeback of Macrame' features Julia Morrison's works. Julia came to macrame after years experimenting with other techniques and materials including leather, stone, wood to painting and decorating her own home. Julia's exhibition runs until October 9.
The Incubator Creative Hub is located at Tauranga Historic Village, 17th Avenue, Tauranga.
