Queen Elizabeth's coffin was lowered into a vault at Windsor Castle, her final resting place, just before 4am NZ time after a day of pageantry that drew world leaders to her funeral and huge crowds to the streets to say farewell to a revered monarch.

Hundreds of thousands of well-wishers lined the route her hearse took from London, throwing flowers, cheering and clapping as it passed from the city to the English countryside that she so loved much.

The rest of the world looks on in awe at how a proper country pays farewell to a proper leader. The message is simple - you can have Politicians as Presidents if you like but they’re all rubbish. This is proper stuff. Hundreds of years of glorious history. Putin & Co will have watched and gulped. They know not to mess with a proper country.
