Rest in Peace – Valerie (Val) Joy Flatt

15 April 1941 – 19 June 2022

Loving Wife of David, devoted Mother to Paul & Jenine, Michael & Gill, and Christopher & Sharlene, adored Nana to Lucy, Clara, Jemima, George, Matthew, Dani, Tayla, Natasha, Millie, Dayna, and Thomas, and much loved Great-Grandmother to Allie Grace, passed away peacefully and without pain just after 7am on Sunday, 19 June at the Waipuna Hospice in Tauranga after a valiant fight against cancer.

Val's funeral will be held at 1pm, Tuesday 28 June at the Legacy Funerals Tauranga Park Chapel, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga. The service will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.

A life well lived and deeply loved by so many.
