What's on today?

Little Big Markets:

Meander down the bustling market isles of artisan stallholders, enjoy live music from local musicians and treat yourself to delicious gourmet street food.

Running from 9am - 2pm at Coronation Park, the markets are a must-visit!

Ōtūmoetai Pa Historic Bike Tour:

Learn about Tauranga's history and explore some of our off-road trails on this guided cycle tour as we celebrate Matariki. Our tour guide, Reweti Te Mete, will share his vast knowledge about why our region, with its vast resources, was important and popular for both Māori and European settlement.

The ride starts at No.1 The Strand at the Māori Waka at 9am, and will include the inner Waikareao Estuary and Tauranga Harbour Drive, finishing at Otūmoetai Pa.

The event is free to attend, and those who wish to book can do so here.

Matariki Kōrero Mai – Artist Speaker Event:

Leading Tauranga Moana toi Māori artists including Kereama Taepa, Whare Thompson and Que Bidois along with special guest, Tame Iti, kōrero about a range of topics such as the place of traditional and contemporary toi Māori in popular culture.

Event is located at the Historic Village Hall, Historic Village, 159 17th Avenue, Tauranga. Bookings are essential and can be done so here.

Jarred Fell – 'Integrity”

'The perfect funny balm to an absolute stinker of a last year…'

Jam-packed with his unique rock ‘n roll style of laughs, wizardry, illusions & mind reading integrity is Jarred Fell's biggest stage show ever. It's also a heartwarming, bottoms up to 365 days of sobriety. Living a life with integrity, his new manly man mantra making him the most honest trickster around!

Ever wondered what it's like to go behind the scenes of a live magic gig, to try and crack the psychology behind the trickery? This show may well give you the chance! 'How the hell did he do that?” Prepare to be awestruck! (This lad hasn't held the coveted title of NZ's Best Comedy Magician for a decade for nothing. Not to mention last year's gong for Best Close-up Magician).

Prices for seats range from $15 to $50. The event is located at Baycourt Addison Theatre. Bookings are essential and can be done so here.

Guy Williams – 'Here Comes Nothing” stand-up comedy:

‘If you're a fan of New Zealand Today, you'll probably have an OK time at this stand-up show.'

Tickets are very limited - Book Now. R16, contains adult themes and frequent coarse language.

Ticket prices are ‘pay what you can' and range from $15 to $45. Event is located at 16th Avenue Theatre, 164 Sixteenth Avenue, Tauranga. Event begins at 9pm and ends at 10pm. For more information and bookings click here.
