Police are attending an incident at Whakamarama involving a firearm.
Police received a report of a firearm being discharged at a Whakamarama Road address about 5.40pm.
"There's no report of anyone being injured," says a Police spokesperson. "Police are in attendance."
SunLive readers have reported that many Police cars have been seen travelling on State Highway 2 through Bethlehem towards Whakamarama.
"There is an ambulance also heading out towards Omokoroa on State Highway 2," says a SunLive reader. "And lots of Police cars."
