On 20 April 2022 peacefully at Somvervale carehome, Mt Maunganui, aged 86 years. Dearly loved Wife of the late Jim and the late Fred. Much loved Mum of Alan and Julie, Clive, Helen and John, and Bruce and Debbie. Also a dearly loved Nana, Grandma and Great-Grandmother to all her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. A special thank you to Somervale carehome for the wonderful and loving care given to Mum.

A service to celebrate Shirley's life is to be held at Legacy Gardens, 53 Te Okuroa Drive Drive, Papamoa on Thursday 28 April 2022 at 2.30pm. For those unable to attend the service will be livestreamed. Communications to the Dean family c/- PO Box 3136 Tauranga.
