Tauranga has moved to Orange in the Covid-19 Protection Framework.

"Please continue to wear a mask when you are in our facilities and venues," says a Tauranga City Council spokesperson.

Tauranga City Council no longer requires people to present vaccine passes upon entry to most venues and facilities.

"Following the Government's advice, keep physically distanced where possible, maintain good hygiene, and if you have cold or flu symptoms isolate immediately and call Healthline 0800 358 5453.

"We will continue to offer alternative online channels to deliver services remotely. Council meetings will continue to be live-streamed, and people who wish to speak at public meetings will still be able to arrange to attend the meeting by audio-visual link."
