A stunning display of art is being shown this week only at local charity Good Neighbour Trust's premises in Burrows St.

'We have an amazing pool of over 500 volunteers that all contribute to helping the community in various ways,” says Good Neighbour marketing coordinator Angela Rogers.

'It became obvious to staff throughout the years that we have some pretty talented and passionate artists in our midst.

'With that in mind we decided to create an opportunity to showcase their hidden talents so that fellow volunteers, staff, charities and the wider public could see what lies beneath the surface of our volunteers and enjoy the art too.”

The collection of art work by the 20 artists involved in the exhibition ranges from hareheke, to acrylic paintings, photography and jewellery.

Pieces which can all be purchased range in price from $4 to $1200.

'There is something for everyone to enjoy. A first for many artists it's created a real sense of pride to share their work.”
