Passed away peacefully on a sunny spring day in the Bay of Plenty on 2^nd November 2021 in his 83^rd year.

Cherished husband of the late Jill. Much loved and admired dad of Sarah, Hamish and Nick. Father in law to Karen and Sara. Grandpa to William, Benjamin, Caitlin, Hannah and Ella. Great Granddad to Nash and Alara.

Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Waipuna Hospice, Acacia Park Rest home and the many others involved with his care.

A private gathering will be held for Richard when he returns home to Hawkes Bay.
