Mauao's base track, Te Ara Tūtanga, will be closed on Tuesday morning.

This closure is to ensure public safety while stump grinding takes place, to protect walkers and runners from flying debris.

The track will be closed from 7.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday September 28.

This closure will be weather dependent with the alternative date scheduled for Wednesday, September 29. Signage and barriers will be in place at all closure points.
