UPDATE 11.15AM: Police are investigating reports of a bomb threat in Te Puke.

A police spokesperson says officers are responding to reports of a bomb threat at Te Puke Primary School.

"All students have been evacuated and police staff are now at the school making inqurires."

Reports are coming in of a bomb scare in Te Puke.

A SunLive reader has emailed us saying that there is a bomb scare near Te Puke High School.

They say the primary school has been evacuated.

"Loads of police and investigators at the scene."
