A car is partially blocking the entrance to Burger King in Mount Maunganui after a vehicle collision.

A SunLive reader states one of the cars appears to have been abandoned.

Police have confirmed a tow has been arranged for the vehicle.

"This was a two car crash reported at 4pm," says a police spokesperson. "There were no injuries."

The other vehicle is parked on the road whilst one is partially blocking the drive-in entrance to the store, which is located on the corner of Banks Ave and Maunganui Rd.

Burger King remains open but drivers should approach entering the car park with care.
