Police are investigating a ram raid at a commercial premises in Tauranga.

A police spokesperson says they were notified of a burglary at a commercial premises in Tauriko this morning.

'It appears a vehicle was used to gain entry.”

A SunLive reader has emailed us on Facebook to say it was a liquor store in Tauriko that was targeted, although this has not been confirmed by police.

'Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances,” says police.

People with information about the burglary can contact the police's 105 non-emergency number.

Alternatively, information can also be left anonymously via the Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 line.
