Firefighters are battling a large building fire in Te Puke this morning.

A SunLive reader has messaged us on Facebook to say that there is a fire at Bay of Plenty Tractors on Jellicoe Street.

"I drove past at 5.30am and it was full a blaze."

Another SunLive reader says the workshop has been completely gutted.

They say it looks like most of the fire is out now and firefighters are working to make sure it is completely out.
