Two new COVID-19 cases in BOP

The number of COVID-19 cases in the Bay of Plenty has risen by two today.
This is the latest information from Toi Te Ora Public Health.

Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says there are 89 new cases of COVID-19 in New Zealand, bringing the total to 1039.
31 cases are in the Bay of Plenty District Health Board area and 12 are in the Lakes District Health area.
The number of confirmed and probable cases in the Western Bay of Plenty is 30, up one from yesterday.
There has also been one additional case of COVID-19 in Rotorua. The total cases of COVID-19 in The Lakes District Health Board area has risen to 12.
The other districts remain unchanged with one case in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and four in Taupo.
The BOPDHB covers the western and eastern Bay of Plenty, while the Lakes DHB covers Rotorua and Taupo.
